You gotta either rig up some kind of tie wrap mount like I did, or land it on a shelf or piece of furniture. The base has a threaded hole in the back, but I could never find a mounting stud in my parts pile which would work. Oh well........NEST needs to toss in a magnetic mount like the next level down NEST cams. Send me mine first please.
NEST did you a big favor limiting the output to 1080. Try streaming a 4K live feed to your through your cell phone carrier..............kaBOOM. No go and it would take forever. This is a home security cam. 1080 is good enough for most of us. I can stream, 4K NETFIX at home through my ATT commercial fiberoptic feed which clocks in @1,000 MPS up/down at the router and 400 MPS up/down next to the Google Mesh router, but even so why would I want to ? Are you in the "Adult Entertainment Industry" by chance ? (just joking !)
