• Internet speed won't be as much of a constraint for audio, but video is 1080p so I would probably recommend having a minimum of 10Mbps download, and 4Mbps upload. Along with that, make sure the signal to the camera is strong. An N-Router or a weak WiFi signal will cause a lot of issues with loading the camera, or having It record if there is sound or motion detected will take longer.

• Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 2.4GHz or 5GHz and a working broadband internet connection with at least 2 Mbps upload speed.

• Nest recommends having an internet connection of at least 2MB of upload speed. (75 char) Each Nest Cam can use up to 2MB of your internet connection to stream video to Nest servers
