Yes. Just scan the code on the cam, and go to add camera. I run my cams on two different GHZ channels. The reason I do this is simple. 2.4 GHZ penetrates through walls, doors, garage doors etc better, that is what I run my outside cams on. For my inside cams, I run it on the 5GHZ because of less obstruction and usually a higher MBPS speed. My source was from digging through Nest cams website and tech tickets.

Please try again later.both indoor and outdoor nest cams use wifi, on your nest cam phone app you can select add another cam and all you need to do is scan the qrc code on the new cam. it will automatically connect to your existing account and you'll be able to access indoor and outdoor footage.
