Can the camera be mounted with the plug on top so the power can be run along the ceiling (actually hiding it under a soffit) Will you still be able to swivel it down to look at the door? Plan to mount it about 8 feet above the porch. Thanks null

There is a setting on the Nest app to rotate the image if you want to install the camera upside down.

Yes, it can. You can swivel it down to look at the entrance, and adjust the video direction in the Nest app.
