“I’ve installed 2 wifi nest thermostat successfully. I’m installing a 3rd and it only shows heat and eco mode…no cool. Does nest offer only heat thermostats? I checked the box and it says both heat and cool. Does anyone know what the problem could be?”

Wiring setup would be a helpful picture here....it could be that your AC is not being recognized and therefore Nest giving you the cool mode.

Please try again later.Your problem could be because you didn’t connected the terminal wire for cooling on the terminal plate in the back and it doesn’t get the input for that wire, and if you did then the wire going into your furnace or cooling system might not be connected
