“I recently bought the Nest 3rd Generation Learning Thermostat, but I have yet to install it. I just have a heat system with 3 zones in my house, and have 3 Taco Zone Valves. I only have a red and white wire at the stat location. Do I need a c-wire?”

We heard you do need a common wire. My husband tried setting it up I just bought 4 of them. We need to hire someone unfortunately he can’t get it to work.
