• We don't have a whole house humid (I'm assuming you mean it's part of the furnace system?) I would assume it does/can because it tracks humidity. Obviously check with your installer.

• I would think so because the humidifier is not hooked up to the thermostat just your main furnace & A/C units are hooked to the Nest.
