Wiring setup would be a helpful picture here....it could be that your AC is not being recognized and therefore Nest giving you the cool mode.

Please try again later.Your problem could be because you didn’t connected the terminal wire for cooling on the terminal plate in the back and it doesn’t get the input for that wire, and if you did then the wire going into your furnace or cooling system might not be connected
