we have found that the number of rush hour days are limited by our utility company and they seem to be relatively rare, i.e., averages a day every couple of weeks or so
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Suzie, No, at least where I live (San Diego). I saw the Rush Hour first time on Wednesday but not yesterday. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can only answer this question as it pertains to my location , which is San Antonio. The power company here is CIty Public Service (CPS). There is not an energy rush everyday and I don’t think they ever occur on weekends. Generally, there is one rush a week during the heat waves. Mine typically are scheduled between 4pm to 6 pm. CPS will raise the thermostat temperature about 3-4 degrees. You always have control of your Nest, you may override any CPS temperature adjustments by manually setting the Nest as you normally would, to your desired temperature. You always have control of your Nest and it’s temperature settings. You are never prevented from adjusting your own temperatures.
