“I'm gone for months at a time from my Florida house, and I'd really like to keep the A/C off, as long as the humidity is below 78 or so. Can this measure humidity? Or do I just estimate what the humidity would be for 82 or so?”

• Nest Learning Thermostat & Nest Thermostat E can both measure the humidity though I do not think the E can control dehumidifier or such. They can measure it and the app can show you what it is. You can then adjust the ac to regulate. Or just set it at 78-80 F and not really worry.
