Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No i have a one zone house and put the temperature sensor in bedroom where it tends to be colder at night. But after a few tries the temperature reading between rooms equalled out very nicely.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Each sensor can only connect to one Nest thermostat and therefore one zone. You can reassign it to a second zone if needed. When you add the sensor to a Nest thermostat, it shows up next to that thermostat in the app. You then can tel the thermostat to use that sensor to read the temperature and heat or cool based on that sensors readings.
