“I've heard that some "unlocked" phones only work with GSM networks. Is this compatible with CDMA networks? I'm currently with Total Wireless (it uses Verizon's towers) but they can't confirm compatibility if I can't provide them with an IMEI or MEID.”

According to Google's support site, "Pixel 4a works on major carrier networks. In the US, Pixel 4a is compatible with all GSM-based networks and CDMA-based networks."
