Not really. I bought mine from Best Buy earlier this year and had it working for 3 months, then the SIM card quit working. Google repaired the phone but it didn't work on data. They sent me a new phone but the new one only works on voice and text not data. I tried updating APN settings through Tracfone and contacting customer service (which with Tracfone has never been a strong point) but have yet to be able to use data with this network. My advice is to buy a phone through the carrier as that is the only sure guarantee that a phone will work with a carrier. I ended up buying a phone through Tracfone and that one works fine. So far the only luck I've had with an new unlocked phone was with postpaid Verizon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Stella! I did call the Cell Phone Dept. at Best buy and the man I spoke with said yes. Then I called Straight Talk and they told me they would need the phone's serial number to be able to check. I did go ahead and ordered the phone and it will be here Wednesday 2/9. I'm thinking no harm, no foul since I can return it within 14 days.
