Well I activated my P6 1 hour later at my nearest T-Mobile store. All rep did was ask for phone number# take out my SIM card from my pixel 4 & placed right into new pixel 6 and transferred data over and I was up and running with 5G faster speed. So just do it later than go to nearest metro store same day you receive your phone
