Yes, but you should also check to make sure that your internet service is fast enough to accommodate all of these activities as well.

This will allow up to 1.2 gigabits per second. Getting that fast will depend on their setup like location and whether it has a wired connection. Your Internet speed from your provider will likely be your slowest point so you shouldn't have to worry about the Google router.

Yes...you'll still need a modem unless you have a direct connect Ethernet port like some of the newer apartments. I purchased mine for just this reason.
