Yes, this will work. I have 6 mesh points: 1 primary access connected to ATT cable modem 1 connected to a wired network cable to PS4 1 connected to a wired network switch and cables with TiVo, XBox One X 3 other mesh points feeding Wireless to tablets and smart phones
