Hey chase, I play a lot on Xbox live and I know exactly what issue you are having, your NAT might be set to strict and not allow you to connect to your friends online. If you get the Google WiFi system you shouldn't have the problem, but if you do you can call up Google support. I gave a call to Googles 24/7 support and the dude who helped me tapped into my network and changed the settings to allow my NAT to be opened so I could play with any of my friends*
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We join parties on XBox Live through with the use of our Google Wifi without any trouble.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can enable an Apple router to work with an Xbox by enabling "Teredo Tunnels" in advanced wifi setting or by assigning a fixed IP address to the xbox and then putting that static IP in the "Default Host" setting. But, the google wifi will work with xbox as it has UPNP enable by default.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't speak for the Xbox platform but our PS4 has no issues. I know the NAT setting is usually the issue with the routers and I've had no problems at all with these. Additionally, the google wireless app helps to simplify the process.
