I have a Time Warner Arris Touchstone TG1672 Telephony Gateway which is a modem and router. Can Google WiFi be used with this device? Are there specific actions that need to be taken to turn off the WiFi before installing the Google Wifi? Thanks null

I have a Netgear Modem and Router all in one and I hooked up my Google Wi fi mesh without any issues. I can run two networks at the same time or you can disable one them so it gives you flexibility. No you don’t have to do anything to setup.

Set mine right on top of my present WiFi.
Plugged this new one into the modem and fired it up. The google app told me everything to do.
Works great. Both systems still working great.

I have the same, and there is no problem to connect the Google to the Arris. I found it really easy to do.

If I were you, I would also buy a modem. This item will work, but if you're going to invest in a good router, invest in a good modem as well.

Yes, absolutely. This is exactly what I just did at my house. Just follow the directions they give you in the Google WiFi box. It works great!
