This would work great in that size place. Each device is supposed to be able to cover 1,500 square feet.

Definitely 1 unit should certainly cover your apartment with ease. The only interruptions with signal that I could possibly see happening would be, say if your house was 10' wide and 65' long and you had lots of walls for signal to travel through. I really doubt you would have this type of problem though so 1 unit should be no problem at all in my opinion.

One would be more than enough for 650 sq ft. I tested the first installed unit in my 700 sq ft attic and had no issues at all.
