“Do all the satellite units have ethernet ports on them, or just the main one connected to the router. I am wondering If I can connect a switch to the other two satellite units once the WiFi is up and running.”

• They all have ethernet ports on them. I have two plugged into a switch, one is just wifi. It works great.
