Google Wifi's rule of thumb is that each additional wifi point should be no more than 2 rooms away. If you doubled that range you'd be looking at no more than 100 feet to get a signal. I think 150 feet would be too far away. Is it an option to run a LAN cable to your garage? The cables aren't that expensive but you'd probably want to bury it.

Please try again later.it very well might. i receive my WiFi from down the street at home but it depends on many factors like competing signals around you, wall construction, interference, etc. you would need to simply test it and try it out. you can probably return it if it didn't work out for you.
