Yes you can make the password whatever you want. The mesh network will appear as a new network but no need to disable Comcast wifi. Very easy set up through app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't think you would need to call them, you can name the SSID of the google wifi something different, and as long as they are on different channels you shouldn't have much problems. If you do have interference issues, you can always call them and have them shut off the wifi option, or watch a youtube video on how to disable that routers wifi options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can still use both of the WiFi network or you can put the modem on bridge mode . All that can be done by yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the default password from your modem/router or login to Comcast as Administrator and change the password. You can also disable their wifi there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Canceling their wifi is up to you, but you would still need an internet provider. I have through buckeye, and just plugged in the Google set and run both. You can set up any password you choose once they are connected to your provider account. The Google set has an app that I like very much you can change and monitor anything on your phone even while not at home..
