“Would an older Hero housing & batteries work with the 8?”

• The HERO8 Black is a slightly different size than previous HERO models, so older housings won't work with it, though nearly all mounts will work. Also, the battery for the HERO8 is a little different, so you will want to use only HERO8 batteries in the HERO8 Black.

• No, the Go Pro Hero 8 is a different battery, they look similar but they don't recommend using an earlier version battery.
