To extend your recording time, the easiest option is to bring along extra batteries. If you want to extend the recording time on a continuous recording though, you could use an external power supply like a power pack to provide power that is run directly into the GoPro's USB-C port. The HERO8 can be mounted on a bike. The most common setup for this is use the GoPro Handlebar Mount. Other options other bikers like is to wear a Chesty mount or to use a helmet mount like the GoPro Vented Helmet Strap Mount.
