• The HERO9 Black has microphones built into the camera itself. If you'd like to attach an external mic, take a look at the GoPro Media Mod for the HERO9 Black. It includes a separate mic and has a port to connect an external mic to the camera. As for audio quality, the HERO9 Black uses GoPro's latest audio technology.

• yes it does have a mic and the audio seems to be good however I have not really tested the audio very much
