We purchased the Hero 9 to put in my daughter’s race car so she can see how she is driving and the car is reacting. Love the voice automation feature. Me being short, I am not able to reach where the camera is mounted to turn it on. The image stabilization option is a huge plus. Because she races dirt track and the corners are curved and high banked, the picture always stays level when this feature is turned on. Before we would have to turn our heads quite a bit to see what she was doing due to the other GoPro we had didn’t have this option. The 8k picture quality is amazing. Watching her videos seems so realistic as if you were the one driving. My husband especially likes the tracking ability. Most of the time you never have to worry about someone stealing your belongings at the race track, but just in case, this feature is nice to have. The only negative thing I have to report is the battery life. Even with the wifi turned off, we are only getting about an hour worth of filming each time. By the time she finishes her races for the night, we usually only have about 10% battery life left. This doesn’t leave much time if there is an accident on the track that takes time to clear up. We ended up purchasing additional batteries to switch out after each race. Overall we are extremely pleased with the product and would definitely recommend it to others.

Good for what it is, everything will always need improvements, it seems that just batteries and new lenses are the only thing I find even remotely disappointing, bought a polarized filter because the stock settings let in too much light still for day filming and now it looks great, the stabilization is a major feature that made it worth the money for me

This is our first GoPro purchase. We decided to go with the new GoPro- Hero9 because of the positive online reviews & user friendly features. We wanted a waterproof camera to use in & out of the water. We tested the GoPro9 when our surfer friend wore it on her wet suit. A few days later, we excitedly took GoPro9 to Big Island HI & got some amazing underwater footage using the video & photo. The colors were vibrant, the sound was clear & we even figured out how to Bluetooth pics & video right away to our friends & family by using the GoPro App. My teen daughter is the techie of the family, so she was fearless about diving in utilizing the camera, charging the batteries, uploading the pics & packing the camera for each days adventures. We also purchased the accessories & an extra battery which definitely came in handy since we were adventuring on land & underwater - from morning to every beautiful HI sunset! We highly recommend this GoPro Hero9, Accesories, micro SD card & 2 battery charger.

Loved the expression on the faces of friends I gifted as Christmas presents both the 10 and the 9 series. Priceless!!I personally use the Go Pro Max as a backup while operating a commercial vehicle daily to justify any complaints about aggressive driving or improper operation of a class 8 semi tractor trailer . With the application QUICK i can edit scroll and capture scenic memories and store those images in the cloud. I’ll definitely be purchasing more series of the Go Pro because of the versatility of the different models and their price. To date I’ve never encountered any problems with the functionality of the equipment except for normal wear and tear of the multiple accessories from the vast selection of gadgets and gizmos The price doesn’t come close to the satisfaction you get when you gift it to friends or family. I bought this prior to a hiking trip to look back to it in the future and it was a joy to see the high video quality! Very smooth, clear audio, and decent battery life. I also bought additional accessories, such as a helmet specifically to hold the go pro. The batteries are also rechargeable and you can buy additional ones to replace with when one of the batteries run out of juice, which helped me be able to record my whole trip. It was the perfect purchase and I am continuously using it during my hikes.

I bought this go pro hero9 to go on vacation and it was the best decision I made to be able to record the memories with my family my children took advantage of it 100%, they swam on the beach and they swam underwater and I had no problem with the camera, I recorded The best memories with this purchase thank you very much for everything best buy!!

The first time I used the camera, it worked perfect. I did not charge it that night because I assumed the battery would hold its 90% charge. The next morning, it was dead and did not turn on. Not sure what that was, but it was the only issue and it has not happened again. The camera has worked perfectly since. This is my 3rd gopro.

This was a great deal! Was worried due to price, but was going to use it for a drone. So was to worried about looks, as long as it functions right. The guys face when we opened the package it was in to inspect it was awesome! We both thought it was going to look like a dumpster fire! Nope! Had one scratch.

Really wanna love this Hero 9’s, but I feel so duped buying it to replace my 8’s and honestly feel like GoPro as a company is going to lose my business in the future to other action camera options. The LCD screen on the front is really the only big change and it is embarrassing. The quality of the image on the front screen is from 1990 it is awful the pixels and colors and honestly it just looks awful and serves zero purpose. Then while they pitch it as more battery life and sensor resolution I don’t see it in the video comparisons enough to warrant replacing my 8’s and honestly if I was not already set to shoot on a project requiring these I would have returned then. I get it though, like Apple and the iPhone they need to continue to market and sell products over and over to people so they can rebuy the same tool for the sake of consumerism or the fake new features we all think we want until we become very disappointed once we use them. I would expect at least making worthwhile or better camera each time, or better yet bring back an HDMI option. It confuses me how they have that option on the 7, but not the 8 or 9? Is it a license thing or just poor product development which when I see the front LCD I think it a more realistic excuse I also use to like their software but it is really not getting better but worse and a ploy to get people to pay for another service. Last design gripe is the fact that the metal door on the side has changed from 8 to 9 but it’s only wider so no ability to flip it with the custom cut out to power then and no ability to had an upgrade on it as a better door it is just depressing. Have an 8, don’t need to buy the 9 and honestly just wait for the 10 in Q4 which I am sure will surpass the quality and features of this one.

This a great camera. You should buy an extra battery though. GoPro uses a lot of battery power. There are a lot of features which I have yet to check out. However, it is easy to use and captures gret video and stills. It’s a great action camera for the price.

Best camera for vlogging, has a nice setting when the suns out. Great for the water too. Easy to work with while on the go, easy access to look at photos and videos. Very good when it comes to uploading and exporting to phone. i also took some nice pics with the go pro!

The image quality is excellent. The camera is easy to use and love that you can use the app on your phone to control the camera remotely. We have used it under water and very impressed with the videos and images.

Good product. Hero 9 video stabizer is the best. Also the one click turn on to record video is a nice feture added. Hero 9 provides the opportunity to swap lens. Battery last 25 to 30 minutes constant use. I will recomend to buy extra batteries. I used under the water and works fine. On the dark I was expecting a better results, I will maybe need a external ligth feature. 4k and 5k available. You have to be carefull when buying a sd card, it performed better with especific sd cards. I will recomend a 256k sd. There is a list of sd at the gopro page.
