I just did 1200 lbs of tree limbs (two pickup beds full) and haven’t sharpened the blade yet. I will before next use but performance has not degraded yet. Get a chainsaw file, you should be able to sharpen multiple times before having to replace a chain
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later....just in case....for newbies.....never let chain touch the dirt. they will dull fast if you do. And yes, of course, always have oil in the tank whether gas or electric. I little touch up now and then on the chain with the proper files makes a world of difference. Learn how to sharpen your chain, There are good instructions on you tube and elsewhere
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.do not replace the chain. it just needs to be sharpened. check youtube for instructions, or take it to your local chainsaw shop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I called Greenworks and they told me it is just a standard 18” chain you can buy at a hardware store. You can also have the chain sharpened, should be good for several sharpenings before you have to replace the chain. As far as how many cuts before it gets dull, that depends on how hard the type of wood you are cutting is. Also make sure the bar oil reservoir is full, as low bar oil can also affect the cutting ability. Hope that helps.
