Hi JOHN. Thank you for your question. Yes. Each voltage platform (24V/48V, 40V, 60V, 80V, and 82V) has a dedicated set of tools that are only interchangeable within the same voltage range. For example, an 80V 2.0Ah battery will work in any 80V unit but is not compatible with 24V/48V, 40V, 60V, or 82V units. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers, and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable. We hope this helped!
