A:AnswerThe connections are set to go in specific slots. So it is hard for me to imagine the monitor not working.
Re-Check all of your connections prior to going back to the store.
A:AnswerHi!
Most external drives don’t need set ups anymore. They look about the size of a cell phone and come with their own usb cable (It’s usually short, so it sits right next to your laptop. If you have a tower you might need to get a long cable so it sits nicely while it’s in use).
Your new external hard drive acts just like another drive on your computer only it’s portable. So your hard drive is “C”, if you have additional memory you may have “D”, “E” even.
You’ll notice in Computer section that is shows Drives, and other hardware items like printers and mouse. When connecting for the first time: have the Computer section open so you can see which drive it is. Then when backing up choose that drive as the location. Be wise on your back up formatting, think about it in long term storage format and retrieval ways. I personally have everything in My Documents, so I only have to save that file to capture my data and I add the file to a Dated folder in the external drive. I keep three dated backups, deleting the oldest as I add a new one.
example:
2018.01.22 My Documents
Well good luck.
A:AnswerYes of course! We love to take care of you today and get you up to date with the latest graphics cards. Would you like me to schedule you any appointment?
A:AnswerGreat question. Depending on your budget we have many options in prices on new and open box laptops. We have great deals right during the holidays. We also have new hard disk and solid state hard drive in stock where we can install, backup and transfer all your info onto it. That can be done all at the same time. Last thing we want is for your hard drive to Permenently fail which can be very costly to try to retrieve data from it especially because I'm sure you have very important documents from work. Let us schedule you in as soon as possible, or stop by any of our locations to help you out LC38.
