I could not find anything where the hdhomerun dvr record engine was running on a netgear readynas duo....

I have been using a synology nas for over 2 yrs with hdhomerun primes & just recently added the OTA connect. no issues recording to the nas.
the hdhomerun dvr app does work well...

Have you considered plex? Theses things work great with it and have a lot of flexibility. Just food for thought.

This can connect to any device that accepts their App or Plex
