Is there no App for Samsung Smart TVs? I read that support was removed with a firmware update on the TV. I look bad since I recommended this to a friend and now I cannot not find an app. null

No, it’s not on the list of compatible platforms. Buy a Roku or AppleTV and you’ll be all set.
