I've went through everything it seems like,but can't find anything to where I can program my remote to control both my tv and cable box (Directv). In other words I'm using 2 controls right now. One to turn on & off the tv and the other to change channels. null

Have the remote go thru the scramble process to find the code. It finds it very quickly. I bought two of these sets and had no problem getting cable remote to work tv with either

I went through Directv, put in my remote control # and was told to try code # 12183. It worked for me!
