• A:Answer It's an Android TV so there's a very good chance all of the apps you'd use on the FLex box can be downloaded and used straight from the set. But if there happen to be apps on the Flex box you can't get on the TV, or you just like the layout the Flex box gives you more, the TV has 4 HDMI inputs, plenty of space to include this box plus other devices.

Q: QuestionHow do you change the default home screen to cable input? I should not have to change input to cable every single time I turn on TV.

• A:Answer You can go to settings >> advanced system ..and change the mode to enable "screenless" which it saves the last state/last input the tv was on when you powered it off.. so when you power it back on it's on the input you left it on.. if I had to guess it probably consumes a bit more power in that mode but I highly doubt it's noticable

• A:Answer You're confusing HDCP with HDMI. HDCP is High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. The Roku Express 4k+ requires an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2, and the U7G ports do. That said, if you use anything else in the signal chain, such as a receiver or soundbar, that isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant, it will block your 4k content. Everything in the system has to support HDCP 2.2 handshaking, not just the TV.
