A:AnswerHello, thank you for your interest in the Hisense 55U7G. If your unit does not support eARC then you can use the optical connection for theatre sound. It is best to connect your 4K Firestick directly to the television and not a receiver. If you have any further questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-888-935-8880 or email us at [email protected]. Thanks again, Harley with the Hisense Support Team.
A:AnswerYes it does! I have headphones and a keyboard paired to it. You can even adjust the digital audio out so that it syncs with headphones when in use.

A:AnswerIt's an Android TV so there's a very good chance all of the apps you'd use on the FLex box can be downloaded and used straight from the set. But if there happen to be apps on the Flex box you can't get on the TV, or you just like the layout the Flex box gives you more, the TV has 4 HDMI inputs, plenty of space to include this box plus other devices.

A:AnswerYou can go to settings >> advanced system ..and change the mode to enable "screenless" which it saves the last state/last input the tv was on when you powered it off.. so when you power it back on it's on the input you left it on.. if I had to guess it probably consumes a bit more power in that mode but I highly doubt it's noticable

A:AnswerFrom Rtings.com: "The Hisense U6G and the Hisense U7G are very similar overall, with a few minor differences between them. The U6G has better black uniformity, but the U7G has better contrast, it's a bit brighter in SDR and a lot brighter in HDR. The U7G is also slightly better for gaming, with a higher native refresh rate, FreeSync support, and two HDMI 2.1 ports."

A:AnswerYou're confusing HDCP with HDMI. HDCP is High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. The Roku Express 4k+ requires an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2, and the U7G ports do. That said, if you use anything else in the signal chain, such as a receiver or soundbar, that isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant, it will block your 4k content. Everything in the system has to support HDCP 2.2 handshaking, not just the TV.
A:AnswerYes, I use a Series S with this TV, and it works excellent! Fast playing games like Halo and Forza Horizon 4 are smooth with no lag.
This TV can support Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus, or you can send it bitstream out to your receiver for decoding too.
