First check your TV to see if internet connection is already set up for your TV by using network function in the menu: either wired or wireless. Then power down and restart TV. This usually solves most of the problems. Also I suspect your remote control might not be connected to TV with bluetooth connection. Long press the menu button on the remote control and it'll show TV is connected to the remote control. Then try Google Assistant button again. Good luck!
