• No you can stream pandora for free and a lot of other channels. you can also cast free spotify

• Hi, it works perfectly with free Spotify. You just can’t skip songs. But if you have any play list in your profile in Spotify it will play it. Usually you get free promotional offers or use for 1 month & create as many playlists as you want & play them on the Google Mini after for free. So yes it works great, I’m listening now to one of my favorite playlists. Hope this helps.
