It will play a generic music station deemed close to what you want to hear, unless you have the premium access to Google music or Spotify. Asking for 'Separate Ways' by Journey will only get you a Spotify 'Journey Station'.

There are many options to play music but if you want to play select songs then it will be a premium service and you will have to sign up for a membership. There are free options like pandora but it will not play the exact song you wish, it will be a play a variety of songs by that artist or similar artists.
