Hello you may find the best answers here. I see others have bought the device and imported it to their home country. the device can be set up but some location specific features may not work. I'm not sure about Brazil. But I sent this to my mom, and she sent it out to me. I'm living in Malta right now. And it works fine. I used the normal Google home in Laos also, just a few features weren't available, like some songs and small things.

I would say yes it works.

I registered it with my google account. So if you register it through your google account and you have WiFi connection I don't see why you would need to worry about registering it out side of the US.

It is linked to your Google account or your Gmail account so if your account will work out of the United States you would probably be able to use it.
