As of typing this, Google Home will be able be able to stream free music from Google Play Music and Pandora. If you buy a Google Home before 12/31/2016, you will get YouTube Red free for 6 months (which includes Google Play Music premium subscription). You can also say, "OK Google, play 101.3," and the command will stream a local radio station using TuneIn Radio. Hope this helps! Google just opened the Google Home to all developers. It will only be a matter of time before the product has a lot more features and options.

Echo will play from tunein, iHeartRadio, and pandora. And if you have amazon prime, it will play from amazon music.
