As of typing this, Google Home will be able be able to stream free music from Google Play Music and Pandora. If you buy a Google Home before 12/31/2016, you will get YouTube Red free for 6 months (which includes Google Play Music premium subscription). You can also say, "OK Google, play 101.3," and the command will stream a local radio station using TuneIn Radio.

Hope this helps! Google just opened the Google Home to all developers. It will only be a matter of time before the product has a lot more features and options.

All radio stations - everywhere. It works well with TuneIn, so you can see what they have on that app so you have an idea of if you can get the stations you need.

It also works with the free version of Pandora, so you can do that as well.

The Google Home may be the best option because it supports any app that features Chromecast support, such as iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify and more. The listed apps all provide free music.

We bought Google Home and we are very pleased with it. We have it play music from Pandora frequently. Pandora is free. I have never tried any other music sources. I would try it for you, but I am traveling and not near my Home.

It will play radio from tunein and pandora (you can have a free account with pandora). It will also play free stations from google music. 

Echo will play from tunein, iHeartRadio, and pandora. And if you have amazon prime, it will play from amazon music.

Well the Google home uses Google mucic,YouTube red ,spotify and Pandora right now you can ask it to play a certain song and she will play it but to really answer your question the answer is no
