temperature can go to 85 degrees and the sound level is low, not bothersome at all

You can set the temp but understand this is a small space heater and unless it is a very enclosed small space is unlikely to even reach the temp if you set it at 75 or something. The noise level is fairly high at the higher setting, but there are multiple settings and the lowest one is pretty quiet . Of course it doesn’t heat much that way either though. So it is a balance between heat and noise that only you can decide what is more important.

You can set the temp or use the convenient high/low setting. This unit is light weight and easily moved even by someone with mobility issues like me. The sound is not bad at all. I have it in my bedroom and I'm a light sleeper. It does not disturb my slumber.

The sound is not bad at all if anything I sleep really well with it its not so loud. The temp goes to about 85 but honestly it heats up a big room pretty quick.

I never tried for a max temp. I just used the "room" setting and left it on high for an hour it did the trick but since the outlet I used wasn't grounded the plug started to get hot and I had to shut it down and move to another outlet with fan on low while I worked in basement. As for sound, I wouldn't use in a bedroom while sleeping.
