• I originally bought it for an attached screened in porch (screened on two sides.) It was not very effective for that purpose. We moved it indoors once the temperatures dropped and loved it so much we purchased two more to use in other rooms this winter. It's fantastic and works great - but not really that effective outdoors unless you keep it right in front of one person only -- and even that wouldn't work very well unless it's not that cold outside. Hope this helps!
