A:AnswerI do not believe you can lock out the controls on the thermostat itself, but with the App you can monitor and see if the temperature changed and also set alerts that if goes to a Maximum or Minimum temperature you get an Email. The only negative thing is that the alert cannot be set to come threw as a notification so you have to check your email.
Hope this Helps

A:AnswerHold button is to not run a schedule but keep the same temps indefinitely. If you wish to turn hold off then select run schedule button on the left.
A:AnswerI can only GUESS that your current setting is superseding your weekly settings. Maybe if you have your "present" setting at 70, in the morning it comes on when the house temp goes below that. The weekly temp setting has no chance to activate. But really, I don't know.
A:AnswerYou need to run a new wire from your furnace, or use a power adapter I believe, in my case the cable that ran from the furnace to the thermostat had 2 extra wires that were not used so I just found the connection for C at the furnace And connected at the thermostat , google how to do it!
