If you are looking to remove the smell of cigarettes, we would advise the A+ premium pre-filter with this unit, as it was made to help greatly reduce Odors and VOCs from the air, far more than the regular pre-filter will. However, this will only remove the odor from the air that passes through the unit, and will not remove the source of the odor.
