The Honeywell air purifier works great. I use this in the bedroom for my daughter who suffers from asthma and allergies. Since using this she sleeps much better at night. The air definitely is cleaner. This purifier is very quiet unless you turn it on turbo which actually isn’t that bad. I would highly recommend this for allergy/asthma sufferers or for anyone.

This unit picks up a lot of my birds dander. I couldn't believe how much it picked up in a short time. The pre filter is black but is now white from all this dander we have been breathing. I was very happy with this unit I bought a second one and both run 24/7.

I deal with a lot of allergy issues. Dust is one of my triggers. I live in an apartment complex and this device has helped me a lot. The air smells fresh and clean. The dust is minimal. Ever since I got the air purifier I have not had a sneezing fit every morning lit usual.

The Honeywell Air Purifier has made a huge difference. It makes the air feel clean and fresh. I wish there was a way to measure the particles of dust and pollens that it has removed. I trust reviews from Consumer Reports on its effectiveness in eliminating toxins in the air with the charcoal filter.

Purchased this for the living room and its awesome. Quiet yet does the job perfectly. P.S.A: you need to clean and check it weekly as it picks up plenty of particles and dust...

I bought Yes after reading a review. I own 2 Honeywell 50255 air purifiers. This was rated higher then the 50255. The Honeywell 50255 is a 360° Purifier. It takes in air from all directions. This purifier takes in air from one side. It is not as powerful and does not clean in the air as quickly. So this air purifier is OK but the 50255 is a much better. This one does not take as much space but I think it would be much better if filters were on both sides.

I like this air purifier, but the air filters get plugged up fast, and the air filters are a little pricey.

this machine has been great, I had a smaller version that did good but when I upgraded to this beast, I was blown away how much cleaner my room was compared to smaller 100 series. Worth every penny, yeah the filters are going to be expense to replace but worth every penny. My allergies haven't flaired up since I got it 2 weeks ago. Hope it can stay like that for the whole year.

I bought 3 , 1 for den/kitchen , & 1 for each bedroom. Not only does it remove pollen, dust, odors, it is great for air flow. I do not need to use fans for circulation now, & I enjoy sleeping with the purifier on as it is very quiet. I turn all 3 purifiers off when leaving the house for work, etc., just seems practical to do.

I'm a lifelong allergy sufferer. I tend to roll with the punches and each season brings about their own ailments, but I've transitioned into Winter being the worst. I usually load up on the usual suspects (musinex, corticosteroids, saline rinses, allergy pills), but I will still develop a classic runny nose, bad sinuses and the dreaded post nasal drip and tickle in my throat. Being outside does help but only so much.
This Winter has kicked it up a notch and I'm not alone as my fiance is also feeling it for the first time which makes our household a coughing, sneezing mess.
We did all the ground work including steam cleaning head to toe, blower and ductwork cleaning and certification and making sure to use high grade filters, but those particulates still seem to get the best of us in the Winter and my throat is in a constant case of tickle/cough.
After reading numerous reviews, this unit seemed to provide the best price:performance ratio so I picked one up to give it a try. The instructions and usage are straight forward. 3 HEPA filters and a large odor/particulate filter that sits on top of them with a massive intake fan that throws out a massive amount of air depending on setting. The unit has three settings (low, med, high) along with a "turbo" setting when you want to circulate a room as quick as possible.
I work from home, so I decided to set the unit up in my computer/office area, shut the door and set it to turbo. Turbo is very loud, but that is to be expected. I had it running for 20-30 minutes before I sat down to work. I had grown so accustomed to hacking and sneezing in my office while working that it took me almost an hour to realize I hadn't hacked or sneezed not once. Another hour passed and, nope, no hacking or sneezing.
As a test, I took some of my work and laptop to my living room and worked from there and within 10-20 minutes my old nemesis returned and I was once again hacking and sneezing.
I opted to move the unit to the living room and let it run all day and when my fiance got home her much less than mine hacking and sneezing was basically non-existent. We both agreed the air smelled much cleaner and fresher, which was a plus, but mainly the greatly reduced (me) and effectively neutralized (her) hacking and sneezing was the big winner here.
Another plus is it is fairly light weight and has two handle grooves on each side for easy transport to move it room to room; but I am so impressed with this thing, I will be buying another just for my office that I can leave on low/med and one for the main living room.
On low, this thing is near in-audible. Medium you can hear it but it isn't bad. High is definitely present and accounted for and Turbo is clearly short for Turbo Jet.
Be warned it is not small nor compact so it will be noticeable. The power cord has decent length allowing it to be placed as desired in most cases.
With all the above being said, will this be a miracle cure for everyone? No, of course not. Worst case scenario, you help clean and purify your air even if you continue to suffer in the same or other aspects. Best case, it is able address much (if not all) of your allergy, dust, mold, spore, particulate problems and help you breathe better and reduce symptoms (which it has done for myself and my fiance).
Two Thumbs up.

They say that air inside the home is much dirtier than the air outside. This air purifier is a game changer. I have never breathed so well before in my life. I also purchased the smaller version for my bedroom. This one I currently use in my living room. I don't run them all the time and the timer settings are nice so that I may run them for short intervals and not have to walk over and turn them off. I could not recommend these air purifiers from Honeywell enough, especially if you can get them on sale like I did!

this thing is a monster, works great with cleaning the air, I have bad allergy due to having 2 dogs. We bought the model below this one and it did a decent job, figure a bigger one that has more sq ft coverage might do a better job and it did. Air is super clean and I turn on turbo mode for 4hrs once a week to extra filter the air. love this machine, only downfall is filter price. It needs 3 hepa filter, but it's worth the trouble cuz it reduced my allergy attacks. Grab one!! worth every penny.
