• You can opt to use only the suction feature, no spinning brushes to damage hardwood floors. It's easy to engage the brush option if you have area rugs.

• You can definitely use it on hardwood floors! That is all we have in our home. This unit is very lightweight and easy to use. My elderly Mom is a bit of a crumb monster and she can easily use this by herself to clean up her trail to and from the cookie jar! Works great!
