“Does this vacuum shut off and have to cool down for at least 30 minutes ? Just returned a WHOLE HOUSE Vacuum. Worked great when it would run. It had to go back.”

Hello Gmm, This unit should not have to cool down for 30 mins. It your unit is shutting off due to heat, it may be that there is a clog or blockage in the system causing the motor to work hard and overheat. Give us a call at 800.944.9200 for any additional questions! The Hoover Team
