for setting up the printers you need to make sure you are actually installing the software that's compatible with the printer on all your devices (Chromebooks, laptops, cellphones, tablets, etc) for them to work properly. I've set up my printer to multiple devices with little to no issues but I can understand how frustrating technology can be in that sense. You should be able to set-up a HP printer to this without any issues. *if there's still issues try the Geek Squad for both devices and maybe they can see what the issues are
