“I do a lot of writing does the laptop have WORD already installed?”

• it is not a laptop; it's a Chromebook. there is a difference despite them looking the same. No it's not installed. Google Docs/Slides/PowerPoint/ etc is installed; well comes with the gmail account (which is free to set-up).

• You can use the Office app from the Google Play Store, which includes Word. Or you can use Microsoft 365 on this Chromebook.
