Yes it is possible to switch to Linux or set up a dual boot to run either operating system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it runs Linux Mint 20 "Ulyana" just fine. Only issue is that the install image ("live" USB) probably won't recognize the WiFi hardware correctly. Easy enough to fix - install Linux Mint either by itself or dual boot, then either use your smartphone as a WiFi device via USB tether, or use a USB WiFi dongle temporarily (I used my phone). Go into Device Manager, it'll detect that the device is not working and you can download the updated drivers to get the onboard WiFi working. Reboot, and set up the Wifi once Linux Mint recognizes it.
