Hi! Thanks for your question. I'm not sure why your laptop has a faster RAM module. There are 2 RAM slots. The specs list 4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) as the standard included RAM. In the Maintenance and Service Guide 4GB and 8 GB, DDR4-3200 memory is listed as available parts. RAM socket Number of Pins is 260.
