• Yes you can. I have a wired printer connected to mine through an hdmi cable and I’m able to charge it while the cable is plugged into it with no issues

• Thank you for the question. Yes, the HP 14-dq0055dx uses the Smart Pin power adapter, and the HDMI 1.b port is right next to it.
